Leo Fernandez Folds Correctly

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Ariel Akerman limped from under the gun, Leo Fernandez limped behind from the button, and Matias Scaffo checked his option.

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and all three players checked.

The turn brought the {2-Spades} and Scaffo checked. Akerman bet 8,000, Fernandez called, and Scaffo folded.

The {4-Spades} fell on the river and Akerman shoved for what looked like 37,000, sending Fernandez into the tank. After about 30 seconds, he folded {A-Spades}{10-Spades} face-up. Akerman flashed {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for bottom set and took the pot.

Quijada Stacks Scacewater

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Action folded around to Mark Scacewater on the button and he moved all-in for his last 35,000. Leo Fernandez folded his small blind and Oscar Quijada called from the big blind to put Scacewater at risk.

Scacewater: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Quijada: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

Quijada had Scacewater in bad shape preflop and the American grinder needed help from the deck in order to double up. He took the lead on the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop and leaped out of his chair with glee. However, it was short-lived, as the {7-Spades} turn and {3-Spades} river gave Quijada the nut flush to win the pot and eliminate Scacewater.

Panno Chips Up With a Semi-Bluff

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Alejandro Lopez raised to 9,000 from early position, Cristian Fernandez was next to act and called, Ernesto Panno called from the cutoff, Nicolas Malandre called from the button, Mario Niciforo called from the small blind, and Martin Crosa called from the big blind.

The six players saw a flop of {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and action checked to Fernandez. He bet 12,000, Panno raised to 27,500, Malandre folded, both blinds did the same, and Lopez folded, as well. After a few moments of thought, Fernandez called.

The turn brought the {9-Hearts} and Fernandez checked. Panno bet 45,500, sending Fernandez into the tank. After about a minute, he folded {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} face-up. Panno showed {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for straight and flush draws and took the chips.

Scaffo Chips Up

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

With about 22,000 chips already in the middle and the board reading {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, the small blind checked, Ariel Akerman bet 6,500 from the big blind, and Matias Scaffo raised to 22,000 from the button. Scaffo Doubles Through Quijada

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Matias Scaffo was in the small blind and got his entire stack in the middle before the flop against Oscar Quijada who was on the button.

Scaffo: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Quijada: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

Quijada was way ahead with his pocket kings and Scaffo needed help from the deck in order to double up. The {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop kept Quijada in the lead, but the {A-Hearts} turn paired Scaffo's ace to give him the advantage. The {5-Diamonds} river changed nothing and Scaffo took the pot to double up.
