Cudos and Rosen Tangle Into the Break

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Picking up the action in a four-way pot with 2,500 already in the middle, action checked to Jesse Rosen on a flop of {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Rosen put out a bet of 2,100 and he found one call from Marcelo Cudos.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Rosen continued, this time betting 4,100. Cudos called once more.

On the {2-Clubs} river, Rosen slowed down and checked. Cudos thought for a bit then put out a bet of 16,000. Rosen tanked for several minutes into the break and then decided to fold, allowing Cudos to take down the big pot.

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante
Juan Guillenea
Juan Guillenea

Juan Guillenea was on the button and got all the chips in before the flop against a single opponent in early position. Guillenea had the larger of the two stacks.

Guillenea: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Opponent: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

Guillenea found himself trailing his opponent's pocket kings and needed help from the deck in order to win. The {J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop kept Guillenea's opponent in the lead, but when the board completed with the {3-Diamonds} on the turn and {5-Diamonds} on the river, Guillenea made the nut flush to win the pot and send his opponent to the rail.

Jacks are Good for Juan Guillenea

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Juan Guillenea faced off against one other opponent on a board of {8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds} with a big pot already brewing in the middle of the table. Guillenea checked to his opponent who put out a bet of 4,900. Guillenea called the bet.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and Guillenea checked again. His opponent checked it back and flashed his {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for just top pair. Guillenea tabled {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for an overpair and it was good to earn him the pot and to move him jsut over the starting stack mark.

Infante Felts a Foe

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante
Andres Infante
Andres Infante

Andres Infante was relatively short-stacked and got all the chips in the middle before the flop against a single opponent who had fewer chips than he did.

Infante: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Infante had the preflop advantage with the better ace and extended his lead when the flop came {Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} to pair his queen. The {7-Clubs} turn and {J-Clubs} river further improved Infante by giving him the nut flush and he took the pot to send his opponent to the rail.

Ivan Balzano
Ivan Balzano

On a flop of {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} Ivan Balzano was facing off against WSOP Bracelet Winner Andres Korn. Korn checked to Balzano who fired 650, and Korn called.

The turn was the {A-Spades} and Korn checked a second time. Balzano fired 2,125 and Korn called again.

On the {6-Spades} river both players checked. Korn showed {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} but it was no good as Balzano was holding {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for trips.

"Good river!" someone at the table said, to which Balzano chuckled and nodded.

The {5-Diamonds} fell on the river and the Marquine's opponent checked. Marquine bet 6,300, and after a bit of thought, his opponent called. Marquine instantly tabled {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a rivered nine-high straight and his opponent mucked.
