Veronelli Slips

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

With about 6,500 chips already in the middle on a flop of {J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, the small blind checked, the big blind bet 5,000, and Diego Veronelli, who was under the gun, raised to 15,000. The small blind folded and the big blind called to put himself at risk.

Veronelli: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Big blind: {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Veronelli was ahead with top pair, top kicker and his opponent needed help from the deck in order to double up. The {6-Clubs} on the turn gave him trip sixes to take the lead and left Veroneli drawing thin. The {3-Clubs} river changed nothing and Veronelli's opponent took the pot to double up.

Hajjar Fades To Stay Alive

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante
Georges Hajjar
Georges Hajjar

From late position, Georges Hajjar opened with a raise to 600. He found calls from the button, the small blind, and the big blind.

The flop was {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and both blinds checked to Hajjar who bet 1,100. All three opponents called.

On the {4-Diamonds} turn, action checked to Hajjar again. This time he moved all in for 2,075. The button called while both blinds folded.

Hajjar: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Button: {K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

The board completed with the {7-Clubs} and that meant Hajjar would double and collect the pot with his two pair, putting him back to about half of the starting stack.

Felicio Finds a Call To Chip Up

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante
Roberly Felicio
Roberly Felicio

With 10,000 already in the pot and facing off against one opponent, Roberly Felicio was put into a tough spot. The board was {Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Felicio's opponent tossed out a bet of 12,000, more than what was in the pot. Felicio was deep in the tank when we approached. He tanked for several minutes, thinking through the hand before he finally tossed in one chip to signify a call. His opponent tapped the table, indicating that Felicio had made a good call and showed his {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

Felicio let out a sigh of relief and he showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for trips and that would earn him the big pot and allow him to chip up to nearly double the starting stack.

Georges Hajjar Felted

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

With a substantial pot of about 7,000 already brewing on a flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, Georges Hajjar was in middle position and heads-up against the player in the cutoff. The two players got all the chips in the middle with Hajjar at risk.

Hajjar: {9-}{9-}
Cutoff: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}

Hajjar was way behind his opponent's flopped boat and needed to catch a nine in order to double up. The {K-Clubs} turn changed nothing and the {6-Clubs} on the river further improved Hajjar's opponent to quad sixes, so he took the pot to send Hajjar to the rail.

Andres Korn Stacked

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

With a substantial pot of about 12,000 already brewing and the completed board reading {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{K-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Andres Korn shoved for what looked like just over 14,000 from the small blind. His lone opponent in the hijack called with a larger stack and Korn flipped over {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for eight high. The hijack tabled {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs} for a pair of aces and took the pot to send Korn home.
