Belluscio Leads The Final Table as a Winner Will Be Crowned Today

Julio Belluscio

The final day of the PokerStars Festival Uruguay is just about to kick off and only eight remain of the starting field that brought in 261 players. Leading the way by a wide margin is Julio Belluscio. Belluscio is looking for his biggest live cash ever which he can earn by winning this event outright, although he has posted results from both the EPT and the WSOP and has nearly $300,000 in recorded live tournament earnings.

Yesterday saw the field cut down from 24 players down to the final table. Once the unnofficial final table was reach, play continued until one more player dropped. It took nearly four hours before a short stacked Juan Guillenea's ace-king finally fell in a coinflip to Ernesto Panno's pocket eights. That brought the field down to eight where play ended for the day in level 24.

Currently all the players are guaranteed at least $9,560, but they are all looking to lock up the first place prize of $76,155 and of course the PokerStars Festival Main Event trophy as well.

Final Table Seat Draw and Chip Counts:
