While many players in the current top ten were trading the chip lead, "GoGreen35" was less of a factor for the early stages of the day. The first sign of momentum came for "GoGreen35" when they helped burst the bubble with kings after spending the day in the middle part of the leaderboard. With the bubble out of the way, the leader went on a late run that was capped off by a big pot in the waning moments of Day 1 to take the lead. "GoGreen35" previously finished fourth in the Spring version of the 2021 MICOOP Event #14: $200 NLHE [Super Tuesday SE] and will look to return for Day 2 to improve on that.

Day 2 will continue on Monday September 27 at 6 p.m. ET in Level 27 with blinds at 30,000/60,000 and an ante of 8,750. Play on Day 2 will continue until there is a winner.

Be sure to keep it here all day long with the PokerNews live reporting team as the MICOOP wraps up another great series.
