"thekidraf04" Eliminated in 6th Place ($1,297)

"thekidraf04"
"thekidraf04"

In Level 23 with blinds of 6,000/12,000 and an ante of 1,500, "thekidraf04" raised to 24,000 in the hijack and was three-bet to 99,000 by Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari, who was on the button. Action folded back to "thekidraf04" and they called.

The flop fell {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and "thekidraf04" check-called a continuation-bet of 112,500 from Sangannagari, bringing the turn {8-Hearts}. "thekidraf04" checked again and Sangannagari fired all in for his second barrel, a slight overbet to the 450K in the middle.

Faced with a decision for their remaining 530,310, "thekidraf04" called.

"thekidraf04": {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Sangannagari had flopped top two pair and was way ahead of the top pair, top kicker of "thekidraf04". No three outer came on the river {10-Hearts} and "thekidraf04" fell in sixth place at Sangannagari's expense, with the former earning $1,297 for their performance while the latter has increased his chip lead to nearly 2 million.

Frank "thewholefunk" Funaro Eliminated in 7th Place ($987)

Frank Funaro
Frank Funaro

In Level 22 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and an ante of 1,250, Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari opened the action with a raise to 30,000 in the hijack. Benji "OtB_RedHeron" Felson called in the cutoff, as did "Batzz88" in the small blind before Frank "thewholefunk" Funaro re-jammed for 342,226 in the big blind. Sangannagari re-jammed and both remaining players folded.

Frank "thewholefunk" Funaro: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The two were off to the races with Funaro holding a slight edge and a shot at the chip lead with over 750K in the middle. He remained out in front through the flop {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, though the paired board did give counterfeit outs, but the turn {k-Spades} gave Sangannagari kings up that remained best as the river {7-Spades} completed the runout, ending Funaro's bid in seventh place.

"IGOTCRABZ_33" Eliminated in 8th Place ($751)

"IGOTCRABZ_33"
"IGOTCRABZ_33"

In Level 22 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and an ante of 1,250, "Jeebus459" opened to 20,000 under the gun and action folded around to "IGOTCRABZ_33" in the small blind, who re-jammed for 111,826. "Jeebus459" called.

"IGOTCRABZ_33": {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
"Jeebus459": {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The aces of "Jeebus459" remained best as the board ran out {3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and "IGOTCRABZ_33" was eliminated from the tournament in eighth place as a result.

A few hands prior, Benji "OtB_RedHeron" Felson doubled with pocket aces against the ace-three of chip leader Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari to get back over 300K and bring Sangannagari just below seven figures once more.

Sangannagari Reaches Seven Figures

Sridhar Sangannagari
Sridhar Sangannagari

In Level 21 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 and an ante of 1,000, Benji "OtB_RedHeron" Felson opened to 16,000 under the gun and was called by "Batzz88" in middle position. Action then folded around to Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari, who defended to take postflop action three ways.

The flop dropped {q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Sangannagari checked. Felson continuation-bet 32,000 and both players called. All three players then checked the turn {7-Spades} and the river came {10-Clubs}. Sangannagari bet 156,000, Felson folded, and "Batzz88" found a call.

Sangannagari showed {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for turned trips and it was good to earn him the pot. With the won pot, he also now finds himself over seven figures, becoming the first player in the tournament to reach that mark.

"Renorick1946" Eliminated in 9th Place ($751)

"Renorick1946"
"Renorick1946"

In Level 21 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 and an ante of 1,000, "Renorick1946" called all in for 7,362 under the gun and action folded to Frank "thewholefunk" Funaro, who pumped it up to 24,000 on the button. "thekidraf04" defended their big blind, taking heads-up action to the streets for the side pot.

Action checked through the flop {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and "thekidraf04" bet 34,181 on the turn {2-Clubs}, forcing a fold from Funaro to earn the side pot and have a chance at an elimination.

"Renorick1946": {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
"thekidraf04": {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

"Renorick1946" was firmly out in front with a chance at staying alive, but the river {j-Hearts} came to give "thekidraf04" a better two pair and send them out in ninth on the first hand of the final table.

Two Simultaneous Eliminations Bring About the Final Table

Daniel Lupo
Daniel Lupo

Hand #1: In Level 21 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 and an ante of 1,000, Frank "thewholefunk" Funaro raised to 16,000 under the gun and "Q8kicksass" re-shoved for their last 28,116 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Funaro and he called.

"Q8kicksass": {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Frank "thewholefunk" Funaro: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

A king on the flop {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} left "Q8kicksass" drawing thin and another one on the turn {k-Clubs} reduced their chances to zero. The river {4-Spades} came to finish the runout and make the hand official, eliminating them from the tournament in 11th place.

"Q8kicksass"
"Q8kicksass"

Hand #2: On the other table at the same time, action folded to Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari in the small blind and he open-jammed for the 139,934 effective that remained in Dan "AvaGray" Lupo's stack in the big blind. Lupo called.

Dan "AvaGray" Lupo: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari: {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Lupo needed to hold and instead saw a flop of {4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} leave him drawing incredibly thin. The turn {5-Spades} gave him four chop outs, but he missed by one pip as the river {5-Diamonds} came to leave his hand no good and result in him bubbling the final table as the 10th place finisher for the event.

Jacks Hold for "IGOTCRABZ_33"

"IGOTCRABZ_33"
"IGOTCRABZ_33"

In Level 21 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 and an ante of 1,000, shoved for their last 67,913 under the gun and received action from a barely-covering stack of "Renorick1946" in the small blind.

"IGOTCRABZ_33": {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
"Renorick1946": {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

"IGOTCRABZ_33" won the coin flip as a runout {3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} wound up to be nothing more than a fantastic hand for an entirely different variant of poker, leaving "Renorick1946" crippled in the process.

"st0neydanza" Runs Big Slick Into Two Bullets

"st0neydanza"
"st0neydanza"

In Level 20 with blinds of 3,500/7,000 and an ante of 875, action folded to "st0neydanza" in the small blind and they opened to 26,250. "Batzz88" was in the big blind and three-bet to 77,000, with "st0neydanza" coming over the top for an all-in four-bet of 233,545. "Batzz88" called.

"st0neydanza": {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
"Batzz88": {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

After emerging victorious in Event #29-M just two nights ago, "st0neydanza" saw their run in this event come to an end after a finished board of {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs} left their aces up no good to their opponent's aces full.

Just before, "MartinChatwn" was also eliminated from the tournament. Eleven players now remain, just two eliminations away from reaching the final table.

Sangannagari Gets Madara on the River

Sridhar Sangannagari
Sridhar Sangannagari

In Level 20 with blinds of 3,500/7,000 and an ante of 875, Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara opened to 14,000 in the hijack and Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari three-bet to 51,625 in the big blind. Madara called.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Sangannagari made a continuation-bet of 56,438. Madara called, bringing the turn {2-Hearts}. Sangannagari continued, shoving all in for 200,680 and Madara called all in for slightly less, totaling 187,045.

Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara: {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari: {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Madara's top pair was ahead with neither player holding a heart. Unfortunately for him, the river {9-Clubs} gave Sangannagari trips and sent him to the payouts.

Moments earlier, Ryan "hagz2richez" Hagerty was also knocked out, and the pair of eliminations was followed up by another two bust outs in the likes of Anthony "supremetny" Chin and "1st.p1ace". All four players received first-level payouts of $440 for their performances.

Felson Saved on the Bubble at the Expense of Bubble Finisher "toddchipman"

"OtB_RedHeron"
"OtB_RedHeron"

In Level 19 with blinds of 3,000/6,000 and an ante of 750, Dan "AvaGray" Lupo opened to 12,000 in early position and "toddchipman" three-bet to 36,000 on his direct left. Action folded around to Benji "OtB_RedHeron" Felson in the small blind, who cold four-bet jammed for 161,822. Lupo folded and "toddchipman" called.

Benji "OtB_RedHeron" Felson: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
"toddchipman": {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Felson needed a king and one came immediately on the flop {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, giving him top set. He faded an ace coming on both the turn {3-Hearts} and river {j-Diamonds} to secure the double, leaving "toddchipman" with just a few blinds left in their stack.

A couple of hands later, Steven "FadeOrHoldz" finished the deed when his {j-Spades}{10-Spades} made the nuts against the {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} of "toddchipman" upon a completed board of {2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} to eliminate them in 18th place and officially send the tournament into the money.
