Arni Gunnarsson raised to 15,000 in middle position. Silvio Lazzaro three-bet to 50,000 in the cutoff, after which the action folded back to Gunnarsson.
He four-bet jammed, covering the 175,000 chips of Lazzaro. Lazzaro reacted disgruntled but stuck in a quick call anyway.
Silvio Lazzaro: K♦K♣
Arni Gunnarsson: A♠A♦
Lazzaro could only hope for a chop after the 9♥4♥5♥A♥ turn, but the 3♣ river was not a heart, sending him to the exit.
Eugenio Sanchioni had opened under the gun and saw cutoff Jakob Bernauer commit his final 18,000 chips. Luigi Ginobbi sat in the small blind and four-bet jammed for 192,000.
Sanchioni mulled it over for a while but eventually called to put both opponents at risk.
Jakob Bernauer: A♦J♦
Luigi Ginobbi: Q♦Q♣
Eugenio Sanchioni: A♠K♦
Sanchioni was on the verge of scoring a double knockout after the J♠9♣K♠ flop, but the 10♦ turn gave Ginobbi a straight for a big lead. The 7♦ river was of no help to anyone, and Ginobbi scooped up the pot resultingly.
Most of Gianmarco Kovari's chips had gone in preflop, as he had only had a single T-5,000 chip left with around 60,000 in the middle.
The flop read 5♦9♥8♦ when he was put all-in for his final chip by Borja Diaz. Kovari took his time to think things through but, surrounded by media and onlookers, ultimately made the call for his tournament life.
Gianmarco Kovari: A♥K♠
Borja Diaz: J♦7♦
Kovari still had the best hand, but Diaz had a plethora of outs to choose from. The 3♦ turn gave Diaz the checkmark as he made his flush.
Kovari had no outs left to hit and officially bubbled the PSO Campione Main Event after the meaningless 6♥ river completed the board.
