Slater Wins Pot With Two Pair
Level 12
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Nathan Slater open-raised to 4,500 from under the gun, Timothy Chung called in middle position and the big blind came along.
The flop came 6♣10♦10♣ and Slater made a continuation bet for 4,000. Chung then raised to 14,000, the big blind folded and Slater called.
On the Q♦ turn, Slater checked and Chung bet 21,000, which Slater called. Both players then checked to showdown on the 3♦ river. Slater showed 7♠7♣ for two pair, tens and sevens, which was enough to win the pot as Chung mucked his hand.
