Action was on the flop on a board of 3♥6♥2♥ and Fan Longmao had a bet of 7,000 out in the middle, which Hamza Nasir called. Steven Taylor then raised it up to 33,000 from the button and Longmao moved all in for 88,900. Nasir then shoved over the top and had both players covered as Taylor also made the call to make it a three-way all in. The cards were flipped.
Fan Longmao: 5♣4♠
Steven Taylor: 6♦6♠
Hamza Nasir: Q♥10♥
All three players had caught a huge part of the board. Longmao had a straight, Taylor a set, and Nasir was ahead with his made flush.
"Pair the board, please pair the board...!", said Taylor, who soon got his wish as the turn came the 3♣ to give him a full house. The river was the 7♠ and Taylor held to win the pot, tripling up his stack, eliminating Longmao and leaving Nasir short.
The PokerStars Open Manchester Main Event payouts have been announced, with 135 players set to make the money and claim at least a min-cash of £1,930. The outright winner will take home a top prize of £174,400.
David Lloyd open-raised to 4,000 from early position, Tuan Le called in middle position, the small blind called, then Gang Wang three-bet to 24,000 from the big blind, which Lloyd and Le both called.
The flop came Q♣8♣K♣ and Wang open-ripped it all in for 115,500, an overshove to the pot. Lloyd folded and Wang went deep into the tank, looking perplexed by the move as he talked himself through the hand.
Eventually, the clock was called and Le was given 30-seconds to act. After a couple of seconds, though, he flicked in a chip to make the call.
Wang showed 10♣10♥ for a pair of tens with a flush draw. Le had him well dominated as he turned over A♣Q♦ for a higher pair and nut flush draw.
The turn came the 6♠ and river the 4♣. Le improved to a flush to win the pot and drag in a huge pile of chips to bring his own stack up to over 400,000.
Cristian Maxim raised from the small blind and Guy Taylor moved all in from the big blind for 27,500. Maxim called with the covering stack and players flipped their cards.
Guy Taylor: Q♥7♥
Cristian Maxim: K♣J♦
The board ran out 5♣J♠2♦10♦Q♠ and Maxim paired his jack on the flop. Taylor then paired his queen on the river to oull ahead.
Action was on the flop on a board of A♥9♦3♠ and chips were piling in the middle to the total of around 100,000 by the time the Q♠ turn was dealt. Mateusz Moolhuizen then checked and Ming Ju checked behind from the button.
The river came the 9♥ and Moolhuizen checked again. Ju checked back to showdown and had QxJx for a pair of queens. Moolhuizen had A♠A♣ for a full house and had attempted to lay the trap by checking, but Ju didn't take the bait.

The PS Open Main Event attracted 852 total entries across all four starting flights. Late registration remains open until the start of Day 2, at which point the entry numbers and overall prize pool will be confirmed, along with payouts later in the day. Unless close to 150 players register in the morning, the tournament could well overlay.
Day 2 will resume on Level 11 with blinds at 1,000/1,500/1,500 and levels increase every 60-minutes. It's expected that the tournament will run for 10 levels before players bag for Day 3.
For those who didn't make it through, there's lots of off-felt fun to be had, including a Game Night with bowling and shuffleboard going down at Lane 7 at 20:30.
Stay tuned to PokerNews as we follow the PS Open Manchester Main Event all the way down to a winner.
