2025 PokerStars Open Manchester
Action has slowed right down in the Main Event, with most pots resulting in only small shifts in stacks. Tables are also waiting for each other if one gets too far ahead.
Action folded around to Sinead Davenport, who raised to 120,000 from the small blind. Baris Topuz called in the big blind.
The flop came 9♠A♥4♠ and Davenport continued for 65,000, which Topuz called. On the 6♣ turn, Davenport bet 125,000, which proved too much for Topuz. He folded and Davenport scooped the pot.

Action was on the flop on a board of A♣8♠6♦ and Hasmukh Khodiyara checked. Tuan Le made it 80,000 to go and Khodiyara check-raised to 265,000, which Le called.
The turn came the K♠ and Khodiyara led out for 450,000. Le called again and by that point the pot was severly inflated. On the A♥ river, Khodiyara took a moment before pushing all in. Le snap-called for 1,600,000 and players showed their hands.
Khodiyara had 9♠7♠ for a missed straight draw that he'd turned into a bluff. Le flipped over A♠K♣ for a full house, aces full of kings, to win the pot and score a huge double up that gave him the chip lead.

Action was on the turn on a board of 4♠9♣J♣6♥ and Michel Molenaar checked. Lawrence Penfold made a bet of 125,000 and Molenaar check-raised, placing several white 100,000 chips in the middle. Penfold quickly shoved all in and Molenaar called with equal haste.
Penfold had Q♦Q♠ for an overpair, while Molenaar had 6♣4♥ for a funky two pair that he'd made on the turn. The river came the K♠ and Molenaar held to win the pot.
Penfold was eliminated from the tournament in 15th place for £8,940.
