Mariya Persanova raised to 3,000 under the gun, John Scavo flatted in the hijack, and Matthew Zambanini called on the button.
The dealer put out a monotone flop of 8♠A♠9♠ and action checked through to the 10♣ turn where all three players checked again.
The river brought the fourth spade on the board in the 6♠ and Persanova checked once more. Scavo bet 6,200, Zambanini folded, and Persanova thought for a moment before making the call with J♣9♣ for a pair of nines.
Scavo tossed his cards into the muck and the pot was pushed Persanova's way.
