Rivkin Calls Correctly
Level 31
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Jason Rivkin opened to 425,000 from the hijack, and Thilbaud Martin defended his big blind to the J♥8♣3♣ flop.
Martin checked to Rivkin, who continued for 200,000. The call was made, and Martin checked again on the 7♦ turn. Rivkin fired 400,000, and Martin called once more.
Martin then led out for 750,000 on the 3♥ river, and Rivkin took some time before tossing in a call. Martin showed K♦9♣ while indicating he missed his draw, and Rivkin tabled Q♠J♦ to take down the pot.
