Bonomo Folds Turn

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

The board on the turn read {5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} with around 28,000 in the middle when big blind Justin Bonomo checked to his button opponent, Max Menzel.

Menzel thought about it for several moments before he eventually landed on a sizing of 7,000. Bonomo took no time and promptly mucked his cards to award the pot to Menzel.

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Andrew Graham was in the hijack against Taco de Goede in the cutoff.

Cooler Ends 2019 PCA Champ's Run

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Chino Rheem
Chino Rheem

2019 PCA Main Event champ Chino Rheem is no more as he was eliminated by Fabiano Kovalski in a classic preflop cooler.

According to those at the table, Rheem held {q-}{q-} to be flipping with the {a-}{k-} of Kovalski. The flop was clean for Rheem but an ace on the turn put him behind and he couldn't improve on the river to end his PSPC run.

Breaking Bad Star Running Bad

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
David Costabile
David Costabile

David Costabile, better known as Gale Boetticher on Breaking Bad and Daniel Hardman on Suits, was in position in a three-way pot.

Action checked to Costabile on the {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop and he bet 1,500. Only Aguirre Azcoitia called. Azcoitia checked on the {2-Diamonds} turn and Costabile sized up to 3,000. Azcoitia again called.

The {6-Clubs} river completed the board and Azcoitia led out for 8,000. Costabile gave a laugh that sounded like he knew he was beat but he called. Azcoitia tabled {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a rivered straight and the TV star mucked before telling his opponent "nice hand."

After the hand, Costabile playfully punched Azcoitia on the shoulder and told him that he had an overpair.

Haxton Continues Heater With 2023 PCA $100K Super High Roller Victory

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

There was another great High Roller victory for Isaac Haxton in the PCA $100,000 Super High Roller, winning over $1,000,000 after a three-way chop.

The American made an ICM deal with Seth Davies and Adrian Mateos, and came out on top as the trio played it out to decide the victor.

This result came less than a week after another High Roller victory in Las Vegas, with Haxton calling it a fantastic start to the year.

"I don't think I've ever won two tournaments in a row before, and these are pretty good ones to do it in," Haxton told PokerNews in a winner's interview. "So yeah, I'm feeling great. This is a fantastic start to the year."

Veldhuis Gets His Aces Cracked

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Rene Bergeron was down to just 7,600 chips and shipped all in from the hijack. Lex Veldhuis was next to act in the cutoff and just called, while the rest of the table folded.

Rene Bergeron: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Lex Veldhuis: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The flop of {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} left Veldhuis in the lead with his pair of aces. However, the {j-Diamonds} on the turn gave Bergeron a set and the {4-Hearts} on the river secured his double-up.

Song Flushed Out by Rodriguez

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Stephen Song opened from under the gun and Alejandro Rodriguez re-raised on his left. The action folded back to Song who called to see a flop of {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Song checked to Rodriguez who bet 3,000 and Song check-raised to 7,500 which Rodriguez called.

The {2-Clubs} landed on the turn and Song led out with a bet of 8,000. Rodriguez went deep into the tank for around three minutes before shoving all in. Song instantly called off his stack of around 40,000 and the cards were tabled.

Stephen Song: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Alejandro Rodriguez: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Song turned a flush and was in great shape to score a big double-up. However, the {5-Clubs} on the river gave Rodriguez the better flush and Song was forced to the rail just before the break.
