Radoja Takes The Lead

Level 20 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

Mark "AceSpades11" Radoja made to 57,500 to go on the button and was called by Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser in the big blind.

Glaser check-raised the {j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop from 38,375 to 148,650 and picked up a call by Radoja to see the {j-Hearts} turn on which Glaser fired another 298,650 and was called.

On the {4-Clubs} river, Glaser bet 680,265 and Radoja called to win the pot with {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a flush, as Glaser was caught bluffing with {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

Big Batch Of Bustouts

Level 20 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

Glaser Busts "Dilith"

Level 20 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

"GaryT20" raised to 50,000 and was called by "Dilith" in the cutoff. Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser three-bet to 250,680 in the big blind to force out the initial raiser and snap-called the shove of "Dilith" for 801,553 total.

"Dilith": {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} board provided no upset and Glaser shot up to more than 2.6 million. In the following few hands, he would lose some of those to the aggression of Mark "AceSpades11" Radoja, who bumped his stack above five million.

"cigarromata" Eliminated by Rudolph

Level 20 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

cigarromata vs Rudolph

Brazil's "cigarromata" defended the big blind against a raise of 54,500 by Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph and checked the {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, which led to a bet of 37,500 by Rudolph. His opponent check-raised to 100,000 and earned a call to then jam the {a-Clubs} turn and pick up a snap-call.

"cigarromata": {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The top set of Rudolph had the checkmark as a meaningless {10-Clubs} peeled off on the river.

Van Zadelhoff Eliminated by "akayagi44"

Steven "SvZff" van Zadelhoff dropped to a shorter stack and ultimately got those last blinds in out of the small blind to get called by "akayagi44" in the big blind.

Steven "SvZff" van Zadelhoff: {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
"akayagi44": {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop provided an additional flushdraw for the Dutchman but he bricked the {6-Spades} turn and {4-Hearts} river.

WCOOP 2020 Winner Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane Offers Advice on Dealing with Downswings after “turbulent but fun” 10 Years

Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane has been playing for over a decade, usually tearing up cash games and occasionally crossing over into the tournament arena to put a few notches on his record. Last week, he won event 26-H for $63,236k, claiming the first WCOOP win of his illustrious poker career.

Speaking of his win, Cochrane says, “It feels like it’s about time! I’ve played enough WCOOPs. I’m happy to win in 5 card PLO, as I really enjoy playing that game.”

He describes his 10+ year long poker journey as “pretty turbulent, but lots of fun.”

Cochrane was once involved in some of the most insane cash games of all time, including regular $100/$200 sessions against players such as Viktor “Isildur1” Blom. In one particularly memorable session, Cochrane came off $600k in profit against Blom. Another time, Cochrane won $150k in a single hand against Scott Palmer.

“I had quite a lot of gamble in my twenties – loved the high stakes and big swings. But I feel that urge less these days,” says Cochrane. “I still have a lot of love for the game, but I have a very different relationship with poker these days. It doesn’t consume me like it used to.”

Andrey "ThePateychuk" Pateychuk: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Jargo "bungakat" Alavali: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The dominated ace of Pateychuk found no help on the {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades} board and the Russian was gone well before the money.

On a flop of {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}, "Horseman4444" check-raised all-in for 900,463 to force our "xnrobix" as Waigel bet 89,000 and subsequently called all-in for less.

Ezequiel "eze88888" Waigel: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}
"Horsman4444": {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
