They Didn't Last a Level

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Cooler and Dub for Pantling

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Andrew Pantling
Andrew Pantling

Action folded to the small blind, where Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas completed. Andrew Pantling made it 24,088 to go and Bujtas potted it back at him. Pantling called, leaving 192K to play. Bujtas led small for 24,000 on the {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop and Pantling called. Both players checked the {5-Diamonds}, bringing a {k-Spades}. Bujtas checked, Pantling bet 88,984, and Bujtas set him in for 79K more.

Pantling called in a hurry since he had {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for quads, and Bujtas showed he'd been one-outed: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

Burns Eliminates Myrmo

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Kahle "ROFLshove" Burns raised to 26,400 in the cutoff and Espen "locomi" Myrmo made it 97,200 in the next seat. Burns called and checked the {7-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop. Myrmo potted for almost everything and Burns stuck in the rest.

Myrmo: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Spades}
Burns: {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Myrmo was in rough shape, and Burns only improved to a full house after the {6-Hearts} turn and {j-Clubs} river.

The preliminary round may be over, but the action is still heating up in WCOOP-73-H: $10,300 PLO [6-Max, Main Event].

There were 38 players coming back after making it through Day 1, and they'll be joined by 12 more last-minute entries, pushing the total to 135 for a prize pool of $1,350,000, just edging past the guarantee of $1,250,000.

Some of those who joined for the first time are top cash player "AmSoGood," Philippe "takechip" D'Auteuil and Henrik "hhecklen" Hecklen. Several players, including Niklas "Lena900" Astedt and Jorryt "TheCleaner11" van Hoof are on bullet No. 2, while Andrew "Clockwyze" Pantling and Joao "Naza114" Vieira opted to get in there on their third and final shells.

The prize pool is now set, and $283,368 will go to the winner.

They'll resume at 6,000/12,000 blinds and play 30-minute levels until just seven remain, at which point they'll break again for the streamed final table on Day 3.
