Andras Nemeth Gunning for Two Big PLO Titles this Series

Andras Nemeth was known as one of the more accomplished players to fail to capture a PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker title coming into the 2020 series, but he's trying to remedy that in a big way by winning not one, not two, but three titles.

He's already taken down WCOOP-37-H: $5,200 PLO [6-Max, High Roller], as well as a $530 no-limit hold'em event, and he's now at the final table of WCOOP-73-H: $10,300 PLO [6-Max, Main Event]. Furthermore, he's sitting in great shape stack-wise, second only to Ola "Odd_Oddsen" Amundsgard, down by only a few big blinds.

An opponent from Nemeth's $5K PLO win, Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas has also made the final table after a swingy day. He's one of the better known Omaha players out in the online streets and has been racking up tons of big cashes in tournaments of all sorts for the past couple of years.

Four yet-to-be unmasked screen names will join them on Tuesday's final table: "d.apollo777," "jedimaster82," and "rObetOblancO." These seven are all that remain from a field of 135 that just nudged past the guarantee of $1.25M.

A bit before the bubble arrived, Nemeth had the shortest stack left in the field. He got that stack all in behind against cash player "AmSoGood" but sucked out for a double. Just a few hands later, he doubled again, then moments after that, he doubled a third time when he got there all in on the turn with a big draw and two pair against a set.

Suddenly, Nemeth had one of the bigger stacks, much to his relief since he doubtless wouldn't be excited about firing three shells and bricking.

Some of the players who did run dry on chips but made the final 17 for a cash included Noah "Exclusive" Boeken, Andreas "Skjervoy" Torbergsen and Sami "lrslzk" Kelopuro.

Tuesday will see the remaining seven competitors convene at 1:05 p.m. EDT and they'll play 30-minute levels until someone gets a hold of all the chips and lays claim to $283,368 and the title. Live coverage will be available here on PokerNews, and a cards-up stream will be hosted by PokerStars on a delay.

David "EzPaTuLa" Cabrera Bubbles Final Table

David "EzPaTuLa" Cabrera elimination
David "EzPaTuLa" Cabrera elimination

David "EzPaTuLa" Cabrera potted under the gun for 315K of his 473K and called off the rest when "d.apollo777" set him in from the big blind.

Cabrera: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
d.apollo777: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

Cabrera had a huge equity edge that's not easy to come by in PLO, but the badugi hand prevailed on the river as {4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} hit the felt to give it a straight.

That leaves the final seven "bagging" for the final table, set for Tuesday.

Bujtas Bluffs Off Again

mnuwwarah • Level 28: 45,000-90,000, 0 ante

Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas defended the big blind from 226,400 by "jedimaster82" on the button. Both players checked the flop, leading to a board of {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Bujtas led small for 164K and jedimaster82 opted to see the {10-Spades} river. Bujtas potted for 827K and jedimaster82 went into the tank before clicking call.

Bujtas showed {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for tens and sevens, while jedimaster82 had called light and had him pipped with {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Spades} for tens and eights.

Bujtas Doubles

"rObetOblancO" opened for 204,000 and Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas potted to 732,000 on the button. rObetOblancO called, bringing an {8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Spades} flop. Bujtas shoved for just over 1 million and received a call.

Bujtas: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}
rObetOblancO: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Bujtas been outflopped, at least in an equity sense. He remained "behind" after the {6-Hearts} turn improved his opponent's draw even further, but the {4-Clubs} kept the aces intact.

"yara777" Falls in 9th

mnuwwarah • Level 27: 40,000-80,000, 0 ante

"yara777" potted for 280,000, leaving 350K back, and Ola "Odd_Oddsen" Amundsgard called in the big blind. Amundsgard ripped in on the {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop and yara777 called with {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}.

They were in awful shape against {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, and their slim equity evaporated on the {k-Diamonds} turn.

"3DTemujiN" Eliminated

mnuwwarah • Level 27: 40,000-80,000, 0 ante

Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas opened for 200,000 in the cutoff and called when "3DTemujiN" jammed in the big blind for 613K.

Bujtas: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
3DTemujiN: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Bujtas was not in great shape but the {j-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades} flop left him fading only running cards. That sweat ended with the {5-Clubs} turn.

Nemeth Picked Off

mnuwwarah • Level 27: 40,000-80,000, 0 ante

Andras "probirs" Nemeth made it 200,000 under the gun and "jedimaster82" called on his left, as did Laszo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas in the big blind. Action checked to the river as {2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} hit the board. Nemeth finally bet 320,000, which jedimaster82 called.

Nemeth had {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, good for just queen-high, while jedimaster82 showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.
