The first week of action in the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) 2021 is winding down as the remaining players in the WCOOP-22-H: $5,000 NLHE PKO enter the second day of play. 20 players remain out of 160 entries heading into Day 2 of the progressive bounty tournament, which topped the $750,000 guarantee with a prize pool of $800,000.

Russia's "HITRII999" wrapped up Day 1 as the tournament chip leader with 4,784,840 chips, trailed by 2020 WCOOP 37-H: $5,200 PLO champion Andras "probirs" Nemeth of Hungary with a stack of 4,284,408 and 2020 SCOOP Main Event champion Pablo "pabritz" Brito Silva, who has 3,539,824 chips.

Notable names in the remaining field include PokerStars ambassador Ben "Spraggy" Spragg and partypoker ambassador Patrick "pads1161" Leonard, who earned two titles during the ongoing festival already. Other grinders such as newly-crowned five-time WCOOP champion Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski, Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph, Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker and Pedro "pvigar" Garagnani, who took down the WCOOP-04-H: $5,200 NLHE High Roller earlier this week for his second WCOOP title, are also in the mix.

Schedule

Day 2 will kick off on Saturday at 5:05 p.m. GMT at the 20th blind level, with levels increasing every 20 minutes. The final table will begin when nine players remain.

Each returning player has at least $5,436 locked up, which is the prize for places 16-20. The champion and runner-up will each win $71,712 while third and fourth place will respectively earn $48,878 and $38,053.

Other payouts for the top 10 finishers include $29,625 for fifth, $23,064 for sixth, $17,956 for seventh, $13,979 for eighth, $11,039 for ninth and $8,717 for 10th.
