Ari "BodogAri" Engel surged to the top of the leaderboard on his table after earning several pots. One of them included the elimination of Christopher "Ceegee87" George when the latter defended the big blind and check-called the {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop. George had few chips behind to the {7-Clubs} turn and check-called all-in.

During one of the last Deuce to Seven hands, Jussi "calvin7v" Nevanlinna made an seven-six-five but Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski ended up with a seven-six-four to send the multiple WCOOP winner to the rail. The field was reduced soon after as the final three tables were reached.

Kostritsyn Busts on Final Bullet

Alexander "joiso" Kostritsyn was all-in prior to the first draw for just 16,625 and earned calls from Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser and Luke "lb6121" Schwartz. Kostritsyn and Schwartz discarded two, Glaser one. Both active players checked and Glaser discard one, as did Kostritsyn. Schwartz patted and bet, Glaser raised and earned a call.

All three players opted for the same decision and checked it down, Schwartz tabled an eighty-six and that won it all.

Lakemeier Takes from Veldhuis

Jens "Fresh_oO_D" Lakemeier battled with Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis in a Deuce to Seven hand in which he discard one and Veldhuis took two new cards on the first draw. Lakemeier bet and Veldhuis raised, Lakemeier three-bet and earned a call. Lakemeier patted the second draw and Veldhuis took one, the German bet and earned a call.

Both opted for the same decision on the final draw and checked, Lakemeier tabled an eighty-seven and that won the pot.

George Takes From Engel

Ari "BodogAri" Engel and Christopher "Ceegee87" George invested two bets to discard two on the first draw. Engel bet and earned a call. He then stood pat while George took one and Engel bet, George called. Both patted and checked to see Engel with an ninety-eight, which George had beat with an eighty-seven.

The Late Registration Has Closed

As expected, a late influx of new entries has boosted the field to 44 entries. The tournament still has an overlay of $60,000 and there are currently 27 players remaining.

Kruk Doubles Through Urbanovich

Pot-Limit Omaha Blinds 1,500-3,000

Christopher "Apotheosis92" Kruk raised to 7,500 and was called by Joao "Naza114" Vieira and Denis "aDrENalin710" Strebkov. Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich raised the pot to 37,500 in the big blind and Kruk called, as did Strebkov.

Urbanovich bet the {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop for 39,600 and Kruk came along to the {4-Diamonds} turn, on which he called all-in when Urbanovich jammed.
