WCOOP 2021
WCOOP 2021

Day 2 of the PokerStars WCOOP-91-M: $530 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event] will restart at 5:10 p.m. GMT with more entries than the 2,006 players who survived Day 1 as the late registration is open until 5:05 p.m.

On Day 1, 7,000 entries were collected to create a prize pool of $3,500,000 which easily smashed the initial $2,500,000 guarantee that was set but with over 300 extra entries already with another hour to go, the prize pool will only go up more.

Leading the returning players is "Gothewarriors" from New Zeland who finished with whopping 1,752,906 chips, as they just barley topped out "pla5te" sits second in chips with 1,501,638. The next three players closed out the first day fairly even in stack sizes as "umvelt900" (1,448,603), "megalodoNkk" (1,346,698) and "dtminator" (1,286,152) round out the top five stacks.

Day 2 Plan

Day 2 will begin at Level 17 where blinds will be 3,000/6,00/750 and action will conclude once only 80 players remain. Day 3 will then resume at the usual time of 5:05 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14.

Play will continue until the final table has been reached, and those final 9 players will return on Wednesday, September 15 at 5:05 p.m. to battle it out for the lion-share of the prize pool.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be bringing all of the updates throughout, so stay tuned as the action unfolds.
