A total of 4,044 players took their shot on Day 1 of the WCOOP Main Event - Medium: $1,050 NLHE, $5M Gtd, all looking to become the next WCOOP Main Event Champion. The event guaranteed a minimum prizepool of $5,000,000 and although late registration is still open until the start of Day 2, there is currently almost $1,000,000 in added value so expect many players to jump into Day 2 and try to run up a stack. After roughly eight hours of play, 1,304 players have made it to Day 2 and are still in the running to take down the title.
