Ehrgott Continues to Roll

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Curtis Ehrgott
Curtis Ehrgott

Curtis Ehrgott was considering two all ins, the biggest of which was a shove for 125,000. After counting it out and thinking it ovr he made the call.

One all in player held {a-}{j-} the other had {a-Spades}{k-Spades} and Ehrgott held the {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. The flop immediately put it in firm control for Ehrgott as it came {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} the turn was the {q-Hearts} and the river the {6-Spades} to give Ehrgott the double knockout and swell his stack to an even grander degree.

Ehrgott Takes Out Opponent, Stacks Big Amount

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Curtis Ehrgott
Curtis Ehrgott

Curtis Ehrgott called the pre-flop raise of 14,500 of his opponent and both players went to the flop. The flop came {2-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The pre-flop raiser moved all in and Ehrgott quickly called. He showed {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} which was ahead of his opponents hand that was not visible as the board ran out {q-Spades} and {9-Clubs} which kept the aces as the best hand and Ehrgott stacked more chips to his large stack.

Ace on the River for Holder

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Multiple players saw a flop of {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}. The first player to act bet 19,000. He was quickly raised to 55,000 on his immediate left by Brandon Holder. The third player in the hand took a while to fold but eventually got rid of his cards and the next player folded quickly. The original bettor hesitated for a moment before calling the bet which was enough to put him all in.

Both players were on draws by Holder had the superior one with the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} against the {9-Spades}{2-Spades} of his opponent. The turn was the {9-Hearts} to but the at risk player ahead but the {a-Clubs} on the river killed the brief hope as it gave Holder the best hand and eliminated the all in player.
