Frampus Rivers Highest Straight in Wild Eight Way Pot

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Potomac Open Tournament Area
Potomac Open Tournament Area

According to a player at the table, the pot was limped eight ways and the players saw a flop of {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Action was picked up with Joseph Frampus all in. He was called by the bigger stacks of Richard Ray and then Gabriel Rababy. One more player was left to act as Ray nearly exposed his hand, not realizing there was another player still in the pot. But after a moment the fourth player folded and the cards were turned on their backs.

Frampus was the shortest stack and held the {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}, Rababy had a set with the {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Ray held the hammer with the {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for the flopped straight. The turn was the {9-Hearts}, and the river was the {7-Clubs} to give Frampus the 10 high straight and steal the pot at the last moment to triple up, while Ray could only shake his head in disgust and walk away from the table as he was left to chop the side pot with Rababy.
