Morrison Spikes The River

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 0 ante
Tom Morrison
Tom Morrison

Tom Morrison limped under-the-gun and the player on the button limped behind. The big blind checked their option and all three players checked on the {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop.

The big blind checked again on the {q-Clubs} and Morrison bet 4,200. The button got out of the way and the player in the big blind raised pot. Morrison quickly put his opponent all in for their remaining stack and they called.

Tom Morrison: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Big blind: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Morrison was behind his opponent's flush, but the {9-Hearts} river paired the board and gave Morrison a winning full house for the knockout.

McLaughlin Continues to Climb

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 0 ante

Rober McLaughlin opened to 3,000 from under-the-gun and was called by the players in the hijack, cutoff, and big blind.

All four players checked on the {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop and it was checked to McLaughlin on the {a-Clubs} turn, who bet 10,000. Only the player in the cutoff called.

The {7-Spades} completed the board and McLaughlin made the same bet of 10,000. His opponent raised to 30,000 and McLaughlin tanked for a while before sliding out a re-raise to 135,000. His opponent showed the {8-Clubs} and {8-Diamonds} one by one before folding his hand.

Staples Wins With a Bigger Full House

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 0 ante
Paul Staples
Paul Staples

The player in the cutoff opened to 3,000 and Paul Staples called on the button, as did both players in the blinds.

Action was checked to the initial raiser on the {k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and he bet 4,000. Staples raised to 15,000 and the player in the small blind cold called. Everyone else folded.

Both players then proceeded to check down on the {k-Clubs} turn and {7-Spades} river.

Staples showed {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} for fours-full of kings, and his opponent revealed {3-}{3-} for a lower full house and mucked — conceding the pot to Staples.

Arnold Finds a Double

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 0 ante
Pearce Arnold
Pearce Arnold

Three players limped preflop and the player on the button raised to 6,000. It was folded to Pearce Arnold in the big blind, who three-bet pot. The initial raiser quickly went all in and Arnold called all-in for less.

Pearce Arnold: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Button: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Both players held aces, but the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} runout left Arnold best with broadway and he doubled up.

McLaughlin Claims Yet Another Stack

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 0 ante

Robert McLaughlin was heads-up from under-the-gun against the player to his direct left. Both players were in for 22,700 each heading into the flop, which came {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. McLaughlin quickly went all in and his opponent called all in for less.

Robert McLaughlin: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Early-position player: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}

The {5-Spades} turn and {9-Diamonds} river left McLaughlin best with aces and he added his opponent's stack to his own.

Adithya Sundar
Adithya Sundar

The player under-the-gun opened to 2,500 and directly behind him, Adithya Sundar three-bet to 8,000. The player in the cutoff called cold and the initial raiser called as well.

Sundar bet 6,000 after being checked to on the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop and only the under-the-gun player called.

Both players checked on the {a-Spades} turn and Sundar was checked to a final time on the {2-Hearts} river. Sundar announced he was all in for around 30,000 and his opponent let their hand go — conceding the pot to Sundar.
