Steve Tindle moved all in for his last 52,000 in early position as action folded around to MacLaren Chatham in the big blind. "This is a terrible hand," Chatham said, but he still ended up calling.

A loud commotion was coming from Reed Bouillane's table, as he was all in for 362,000 from under the gun on a flop of J♠3♥J♦ and up against an opponent in the big blind.

Both players had flopped trips, but the 7♦ turn gave the big blind a full house and left him poised for the knockout. The river, though, brought the A♠ to give Bouillane a higher full house and the massive double up.

"For f**k's sake. You've got to be kidding me," the big blind lamented as he handed over the pot.

A player in the big blind led out for 20,000 on a flop of 7♣4♠8♥ and Josh Mischel raised to 80,000 in the cutoff. The big blind called, and the 2♥ fell on the turn.

The big blind then bet 100,000, and Mischel moved all in for 207,000. His opponent quickly called with K♦7♥ for a pair of sevens, but Mischel had A♥8♣ for a pair of eights. The river was the 2♦, and Mischel doubled up to around 600,000.

Alan Gendelman and Lucas Vergara were among the recent bustouts as the field was reduced to 81 players.

Tournament officials have confirmed that there were 225 total entries into Day 1b. The day will conclude once 29 players remain, and they'll join the 23 survivors from yesterday's opening flight for Day 2 tomorrow at 11 a .m.

The $500 Monumental Stack had 403 entries overall.

Chatham Earns a Massive Double Off Yonashiro

Around 100,000 was already in the middle as MacLaren Chatham and Diego Yonashiro went to the turn on a board of Q♠9♦7♥J♦. Yonashiro then bet 61,000 from the hijack, and Chatham raised to 168,000 under the gun. Yonashiro moved all in, and Chatham quickly called for 241,000.

Yonashiro showed Q♥J♥ for top two pair, but Chatham had 9♠9♣ for a set. The river was the A♥, and Chatham earned the massive double worth nearly 600,000.

Late registration is now closed, and the tournament clock shows 225 entres with 99 players remaining. Official numbers should be confirmed shortly.

Yonashiro Shoves; Boullianne Wins a Flip

Both players checked to the Q♣ turn, where the hijack bet 40,000. Yonashiro then moved all in, and his opponent snap-folded as Yonashiro moved up to around 330,000.

At another table, a player under the gun moved all in for 70,000 and Reed Boullianne put him at risk on the button.
