Capps and Faulkner Clash in Massive Pot
Ladies and gentleman, we have a new chip leader! Jesse Capps just knocked out Michael Faulkner and that boosted his stack all the way up to 865,000.
Faulkner raised from the button to 22,000 and Gill Hoelting called in the small blind after which Capps called in the big.
The flop came down and Hoelting checked to Capps who lead out for 30,000. Both Faulkner and Hoelting called Capps' bet, and on the turn, when the hit, all three players checked.
The river was the and Hoelting checked once more before Capps bet 70,000. Faulkner went into the tank and after a while he moved all in for about 290,000 chips. Hoelting folded right away and Capps snap-called.
"Oh damn, I should've just called," a shocked Faulkner said as Capps turned over for a full house.
Faulkner sheepishly showed and repeated numerous times how he should've just made the call. Faulkner was knocked out in this massive pot, and Capps now has a big chip lead.
