Delvecchio Doubles Through Trivett

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

In one of the last hands before the break, Michael Trivett raised to 1,800 from the under-the-gun position and found four callers, including Michael Delvecchio in middle position. The dealer spread the {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}[5h} flop, and Trivett checked. Delvecchio bet 3,400, the others folded, and then Trivett called.

The turn was the {A-Clubs}, and Trivett checked. Delvecchio bet 6,500, and Trivett check-raised all in to put Delvecchio to the test. Delvecchio called with a set of sixes. Trivet had the {A-Hearts}{K-}.

The river was the {J-Spades}, and Trivett had missed. With that, Delvecchio doubled, and Trivett dropped back to 130,000 in chips.

Johnston Busts Ross

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante
Dwight Ross
Dwight Ross

From early position, Dwight Ross moved all in for 12,900. Play folded to Rose Johnston on the button, and she reraised all in for about 25,000. Everyone folded, and it was Johnston's {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} up against the at-risk Ross' {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

The {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} board gave Johnston a full house and sent Ross out the door.

Addamo Finds Ace-King

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

A player just raised to 2,200 after which the player to his left decided to move all in for about 13,000 chips. Frank Addamo, on the button, gave it some thought before he ultimately came over the top for 26,000 total.

The initial raiser looked down at his stack, hesitated for a while, but ultimately decided not to go for it in this battle of all ins.

Addamo: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Opponent: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Addamo's ace-king managed to hold up.
