Gina Stagnitto Finishes Atop Day 1b
Day 1b of the 2015 Run It Up Reno $565 Main Event was a special turbo starting flight to allow players another shot at advancing to Day 2, which will begin at 12 p.m. local time today. There were 65 entries generated from this flight, and when added to the 239 entries from Day 1a, brought the total field size up to 304. There's still a little bit of time to register or reenter before the first hand is dealt on Day 2, so the field size number is likely going to grow.
Finishing atop the Day 1b pack was Gina Stagnitto, and she'll take 87,000 in chips into Day 2. On Day 1a, it was Suja Juica co-founder Eric Ethans who amassed a towering stack of 180,200 in chips, and he's well ahead of anyone else left in the field.
Also advancing from Day 1b were Brent Harrington, Roy Peters, Oskar Sandberg, Robert Fein, and Martin Kampmann.
