Action picked up on the turn with a sizable pot brewing between Terry Paulsen in early position and Willy Sou in the big blind.

With about 50,000 in the middle and the board reading 2♣5♣8♥7♥, Sou checked and Paulsen fired out a bet of 37,000.

After taking some time to think through his decision, Sou eventually tossed his cards into the muck.

The under-the-gun player limped and Patrick Small raised to 3,000 on the button. Casey Carter flatted in the small blind, the player in the big blind called, and the under-the-gun player got out of the way.

The flop came 5♥4♦5♠ and it checked around to small who bet 12,000. Carter called and the big blind folded.

The turn landed the 2♥ and Small moved all in for about 40,000, putting himself at risk. Carter quickly called.

Patrick Small: Ax6x

Carter had his opponent drawing dead with his flopped boat and the meaningless A♣ rolled off on the river.

Small opted to re-buy and was given a fresh 60,000 starting stack for his second bullet.

Kyle Wilson made the call in the hijack and the rest of the players got out of the way.

On the 6♣ turn, the under-the-gun player check-called a bet of 4,000 from Wilson, bringing the 5♠ river which went check-check.

Wilson tabled 10♦9♣ for a full house, sixes full of nines to scoop the pot.

Gates Doubles Through Hass

After a lot of action preflop, the rest of the money quickly went in on the flop of J♣Q♠10♥ in a hand between Austin Gates and Rick Hass, with Gates being the one at risk.

Gates flopped Broadway but was not out of the woods as Hass held bottom set with outs to a full house.

The turn landed the 5♠ and the river brought the 6♣, earning Gates the double up.
