Dean Stuns Hawkenberry on the River
Preston Dean had a raise of 75,000 in front of him from the cutoff before Robert Hawkenberry moved all in for 270,000 from the hijack. Dean took a minute before calling.

Hawkenberry showed down two aces and was a big favorite to double up as the flop came 9♥2♣Q♣. The J♠ turn gave Dean additional outs with a straight draw, and he spiked the 10♥ on the river to make his straight.
Hawkenberry leaned back in his seat and let out a deep sigh before wishing the table good luck and heading for the exit.
At the same time at another table, Jon Maras was all in for 110,000 from the big blind and up against Weston Wells in early position.

Wells had a pair on the K♠Q♣4♥ flop to take a bigger lead, and the rest of the board ran out 3♦J♥ to send Maras to the rail.
