Temme Holds to Double Off Anderson
Level 26
: Blinds 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Richard Anderson raised to 375,000 in the cutoff and Gil Temme called in the big blind.
Temme bet 500,000 on the 5♦Q♦9♠ flop. "I can't fold," Anderson said as he went to call. Temme still had 400,000 behind, and they both put in the extra chips.
Gil Temme: Q♣J♣
Richard Anderson: A♦6♦
Temme was ahead with top pair, while Anderson had a flush draw. The 6♣ turn gave Anderson more outs with a pair, but he missed the 10♠ river and Temme doubled up.
