Slaubaugh Not Satisfied With Two Bags

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Four players went to a flop of 986 where Ron Haase moved all in for his last 7,500 in the big blind. The table folded around to small blind Brent Slaubaugh, who snap-called.

Ron Haase: J9 All in
Brent Slaubaugh: 107

Haase showed top pair, but Slaubaugh had flopped a straight to leave Haase at risk. The rest of the board ran out 5A and Haase was sent to the rail.

Slaubaugh, who already made it through the first two starting flights yesterday, has built up another big stack approaching 100,000 so far today.

Gates Bets Big on the River; Diseth Fills Up

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

A player in middle position bet 3,000 on a flop of 837 and was called by Austin Gates on the button. JR Perleberg also came along from the big blind, and the 3 fell on the turn.

The middle-position player then bet another 3,000, and both opponents again called. Action checked to Gates on the K river, and he bet 10,600. Both opponents folded, and Gates took the pot.

At another table, Gage Thompson bet 1,200 from the cutoff on a board of QQ85 and Duff Diseth called under the gun. An early-position player then raised to 6,800, and only Diseth called.

Diseth led out for 6,000 on the J river, and his opponent called. Diseth then showed QJ for a rivered full house, and his opponent also flashed a queen before mucking.

Rasmussen Hit With an Ultimate Cooler

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
David Kvaal
David Kvaal

Kim Rasmussen had just taken his seat in the tournament when he got in his stack from the big blind against David Kvaal on the button.

David Kvaal: AA All in
Kim Rasmussen: KK

"One hand," Rasmussen said as he found his kings crushed by Kvaal's aces. Rasmussen picked up a flush draw on the 24J10 board, but he missed the 9 river.

Rasmussen got up to leave, but a recount showed he barely had Kvaal covered. Kvaal doubled up, while Rasmussen was left with just a few chips and busted a few hands later.

Kevin Neb
Kevin Neb

Jesse West bet 1,100 from under the gun on a flop of A79 and Kevin Neb called in early position, as did Dan Thompson in the big blind.

West bet another 3,000 on the Q turn and Neb called, while Thompson got out of the way. The river was the 3 and West bet 4,500. Neb came back with a raise to 10,000, and West folded.

West was left with around 7,500 after that hand and moved all in from the big blind the next hand. Thompson called in the small blind.

Jesse West: AQ All in
Dan Thompson: K3

Thompson took the lead on the J32 flop with a pair of threes, and West couldn't catch up on the 7 turn or 10 river as he became the first elimination of the day.
