Lund Flops a Set on Dwire
Level 5
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
With the board reading 7♦5♥3♣9♦, the action was checked to Garrett Dwire on the button who announced a bet of 14,500. He was called by the small blind and Troy Lund check-raised all in for 45,000 in early position. Dwire just called and the small blind got out of the way.
Troy Lund: 3♥3♦
Garrett Dwire: K♥K♣
Dwire had a premium holding but it was no match for the set of threes from Lund. The river was the 7♣ and Dwire was forced to pass over a double up.
