With the field approaching 50 entries for the opening of three starting flights, the remaining 35 players are taking their second break of the day. A reminder that they will be playing down to 15% of the field or 16 levels, whichever comes first. Late registration will be open through the end of Level 12 on each starting flight.
Over 30,000 was in the middle preflop and the dealer fanned the flop of J♥3♥3♦. The action checked to Kaden Becker in the cutoff who moved all in for his last 12,000. Shawn Douglas called from the big blind and Arthur Lockwood came along as well.
The turn was the A♠ and both players checked it down in the dry side pot with the 8♥ completing the river. At showdown, Becker flipped over Q♥10♥ for a rivered flush which was good enough to beat Douglas' K♠K♦ and the J♣7♣ from Lockwood.
In a three-bet pot that had over 25,000 in the middle preflop, four players saw a flop of 9♠8♣4♠. The action checked to Bruce Larson in the cutoff who fired in a bet of 10,000. Arthur Lockwood was the only player to call as the 7♦ rolled off on the turn.
Lockwood checked again and Larson dropped in a bet of 25,000. Lockwood called off his remaining 16,800 chips and the cards were tabled.

Larson was comfortably in the lead with his pocket queens but the K♠ on the river improved Lockwood to two pair to score a double up.
After three exciting days of action in Hankinson, North Dakota back in October, the Roughrider Poker Tour Tri-State Poker Championship came to an end with Bridget Johnson claiming victory to capture a career-best score of $35,000. She also went home with the custom RPT trophy and a $1,000 Dream Chaser V Main Event seat.
The tournament drew 351 entries, with Johnson defeating Mark Fink in a short heads-up match to earn the lion's share of the $189,540 prize pool.

Christian Donno was heads-up with Keith Doering on the turn and Donno reiterated that he still hadn't looked at his cards. On a board of K♠10♠6♥5♥, Donno moved all in for his last 3,500 chips. Doering flicked in a call and the cards were tabled.

Donno showed up with a pair but had to fade the straight draw and overcards from Doering. The K♦ paired the board on the river, and Donno doubled up with two pair.
"Well played," one player said at the table.
"That was just all luck," Donno replied.
On a flop of 10♠4♥3♦, Christopher Graves got the last of his 21,000-plus chips in the middle and was called by Ryan French-Charles who had the covering stack.

Graves was displeased to see that his overpair ran into a set of fours, leaving him drawing thin. The 3♥ on the turn and the K♠ on the river was not going to help him as he stood up from the table.
"It's just not my day," Graves said before exiting.
"But it could be your night," another player responded.

Four players went to a flop of 6♥6♣6♦ and the action checked through to the 7♥ on the turn and the K♦ on the river. Shaun Simmons finally led out with a bet of 5,000 on the river and Brian McGill jammed all in for 17,100.
Simmons asked for a count and then flicked in a chip to call. McGill rolled over K♠6♠ for quad sixes and Simmons flung his cards to the muck in defeat.
After the first break of the day, a total of 46 entries have been recorded with many of them still in their seats. Charles Kersey currently holds the chip lead with 2.5 starting stacks in the early going.
