Tyler Stevenson opened to 12,000 from under the gun and was called by chip leader Anthony Scarborough on the button. They went heads-up to a flop of A♥10♦9♠ and Stevenson continued with a bet of 13,000 which Scarborough called.

The K♥ landed on the turn and Stevenson dropped in another bet of 23,000. Scarborough still called and the 3♥ completed the board. Stevenson checked this time and Scarborough announced all in. Stevenson went into the tank with 151,000 in front of him but ultimately decided to fold.

Brown Nearly Forfeits, Busts Shortly After

Andre Brown was holding cards and asked by the dealer to put his phone down when the action was on him. That did nnot go over well as Brown pushed his short stack of 16,000 into the dealer and said he wasn't playing anymore.

After a brief walk around, Brown returned to his seat and his chips were there waiting for him. Brown pushed all in from under the gun and Joseph Osterbauer quickly called from the big blind.

Despite being dominated, Osterbauer took the lead on the A♦J♣3♠ flop. The 5♠ and 2♠ runout could not help Brown who left the tournament room peacefully.

Robert Whalen limped in from under the gun which allowed four other players to come along for the minimum as well. The flop came K♦8♦4♥ and Whalen just piled all in for 74,000 into a pot of 30,000. He was called by AJ Thompson in the small blind and the rest of the table folded.

AJ Thompson: 6♦5♦

Whalen had a ton of outs to fade and the K♥ was safe but the J♦ on the river gave Thompson a flush and ended Whalen's day.

Gudajtes Gets Rewarded

There was just shy of 100,000 chips in the pot on a board of K♣10♣2♦3♠. Jon Maras counted out a bet of 130,000 in the small blind and John Gudajtes just called, leaving himself with only 13,000 chips behind.

Maras announced all in before the 6♣ landed on the river. Gudajtes didn't take long to call and turned over J♣7♣ for a rivered flush. Maras was forced to show his 2♥2♣ and pass over a large portion of his stack.

Anthony Scarborough and Allen Diehn were heads-up in a pot that had around 90,000 in the middle. The dealer fanned the flop of K♥J♣8♣ and it didn't take long for a massive pot to break out with the two big stacks going all in.

Scarborough flopped a set of jacks and had Diehn's top pair in big trouble. The 7♠ on the turn left Diehn drawing dead to the 4♠ on the river. After the stacks were counted, it was Diehn who was at risk for 241,000 and barely covered.

Another One for Snyder

With the board reading J♠J♦9♣5♦, Michael Snyder led out with a bet of 15,000 from the small blind. Brian Twete nearly beat him into the pot and a third player opted to step aside.

The 3♠ completed the board and Snyder moved all in for 32,500. Twete quickly called again and couldn't believe that he lost to the K♦J♣ of Snyder.
