Allen Finds a Set to Double
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Leonard Burke bet 10,000 from the button on a flop of Q♥6♥J♦ before Nathan Allen moved all in from under the gun. Burke took a few minutes, but he eventually called.
Nathan Allen: 6♣6♠
Leonard Burke: K♣K♥
Burke turned over two kings, but Allen had flopped a set to take the lead. The rest of the board ran out 3♣7♣ and Allen secured the pot. His stack was counted as 121,000, and Burke barely had him covered as he handed over most of his stack.
