Lebo Flops the Joint to Bust One
Clayton McAllister raised to 1,000 in early position and Ross Lebo called in the hijack. The cutoff then three-bet to 3,000, and both opponents called.
The cutoff moved all in for his last 3,500 on the 9♦8♦J♥ flop, and only Lebo called.
All-In Player: A♠J♠
Ross Lebo: Q♥10♥
Lebo had flopped the nut straight, and the board ran out 6♥7♦ to send his opponent to the rail.
At another table, Wesley Weible then scored a double knockout and tablemate Joshua Baldwin filled in the details. According to Baldwin, Kent Larson shoved for 15,000 with two jacks, another opponent reshoved with ace-king, while Weible had both opponents covered and at risk with two sixes. The flop came ace-king, but Weible spiked a six on the turn to make a set and send both opponents to the rail.
"From worst to first," Baldwin said.
