Sneed Busts Lebo Amid Controversy
Level 5
: Blinds 300/500, 5,000 ante
Controversy erupted at Silas Sneed's table, where he had moved all in from early position on a board of 6♦6♣8♣7♥ and Ross Lebo called for his last 20,000 in middle position.
Sneed showed Q♥Q♦, while Lebo had just 2♥2♠ and was left with just two outs going to the river. The dealer, though, took Sneed's cards and mucked them, saying he thought Sneed had folded. Tournament officials had to go check the cameras and recreate the board, a process that took several minutes.
The cards were eventually retrieved, and the river card turned out to be the 5♣ as Lebo was, finally, sent to the rail.
