Ficken bet another 3,000 on the 9♦ turn, and only the early-position player called this time. Both players checked down the 7♦ river, and Ficken showed A♥9♥ for two pair to win the pot.
"I missed a bet," Ficken said.
"You wouldn't have gotten anything from me," his opponent replied.
