In another limped pot, Preston Dean bet 150,000 from under the gun on a flop of J♥4♣5♥ and Terry Ketterer called in the small blind, as did Alan Curl in the big blind.
Curl bet 325,000 on the 6♥ turn, and only Ketterer called. Both players checked the 10♥ river and Curl showed J♦5♠ for two pair, but Ketterer had rivered a flush with 8♥6♣ to win the pot.
The next hand, Curl and Dean went to the 10♣7♣3♥ flop in a battle between the blinds when Dean bet 200,000. Curl called, and the 7♠ fell on the turn.
Dean then bet 300,000, and Curl again called. The K♦ river was checked down, and Dean showed 10♠9♦ to win the pot as Curl dropped down to less than 10 big blinds.
