His opponent had enough, as he mucked his hand to yield the pot to Blackburn.

Mark Mead from middle position and Raul Norris from the hijack clashed in a series of raises that led to Norris going all-in. Mead called and put himself at risk for 37,000 as the pair of opponents went to a showdown.

Mead held a strong hand with middle set, but it was terrible timing for him as Norris flopped top set, which had Mead drawing to just one out.

This hand was picked up on a complete board of 2♣6♣7♦4♦3♣ with approximately 25,000 in the middle. Anthony Graham led out for 8,000 from middle position before Vannara Sam chose to raise the stakes when she pumped it up to 20,000.
Graham called, and they went to showdown.
Sam showed A♣5♣ for a flush as she dragged in the chips in what has so far been a strong Day 1c performance.

Terry Hawkins got the action started with a limp from the cutoff before the small blind made it 4,000. Andrea Hizer called from the big blind, while Hawkins got out of the way with a fold.
The 9♦4♣A♠ flop led to a continuation bet of 2,500 from the small blind. Hizer was still interested and made the call.
The small blind slowed down with a check on the 8♠ turn. Hizer opted to fire 5,000, but the small blind was no longer interested in the hand and folded to award the pot to Hizer on the turn.

Norris checked his option from the cutoff before Durr followed with a bet of 10,000. Norris surveyed the situation before he went all-in and was quickly called. Durr was at risk for 23,600.
