Ted Forshey moved all in for 820,000 on the button, and Phil Boyd snap-called in the big blind.

Boyd had woken up with queens, while Forshey was looking for an ace to survive. The board ran out J♦5♣3♣J♥3♥, and Boyd held up to send Forshey to the rail.

"That's because we play better," Keith Heine shot back.
Meanwhile, Sekhar Perla and Jerry Knoche went to the turn on a board of J♦8♣6♥5♠ in a blind-versus-blind battle. Perla then bet 100,000, Knoche raised to 340,000, and Perla called.
The river was the A♣ and Perla moved all in for 750,000. "We have an all in over here, so shut up," Heine yelled out to the other table. Knoche took a minute, but he eventually folded.
In a four-way limped pot, Aaron Drummond moved all in for 1,000,000 from the big blind on the 8♣7♠5♣ flop. Phil Boyd tanked for a few minutes in early position before folding, as did Matthew Blackwell. Greg Iken, though, snap-called on the button when action got to him.

Drummond was ahead with two pair, but the 4♣ turn gave Iken the nut flush. The river was the 3♣, and Drummond was sent to the rail.
Cameron Dugan raised to 120,000 in the cutoff and Terry Stuhldreher three-bet to 415,000 on the button. Dugan then moved all in, and Stuhldreher quickly called for 800,000.

Dugan took a big lead on the A♥7♥7♣ flop with two pair, and Stuhldreher was left drawing dead after the 5♥ turn. The river was the J♠, and Stuhldreher was sent to the rail in 15th place.
Greg Iken raised to 125,000 in middle position before Jonathon Mason moved all in for 1,020,000 on the button. Iken tanked for a minute, and he eventually called to put Mason at risk.

Mason had Iken dominated, but the Q♥8♥3♦ flop gave Iken the lead with top pair. The turn was the A♦, while the Q♣ river improved Iken to a full house.
"Good playing. Do something good with it," Mason said to Iken on his way to the rail.

Javier Terrazas and Sekhar Perla went to the turn on a board of 7♣K♦10♠7♦ when Terrazas bet 225,000 from middle position. Perla called in the small blind.
The river was the 6♣ and Perla led out for 330,000. Terrazas tanked for a few minutes before calling, and Perla showed A♠7♠ for trips. Terrazas slammed his cards down on the table and handed over the pot.
At the other table, Phil Boyd had opened to 115,000 in middle position and Matthew Blackwell called on the button, as did Ted Forshey in the big blind.
Boyd bet 75,000 on the A♠8♣6♦ flop, and only Blackwell called. Boyd then bet 175,000 on the 10♣ turn, and Blackwell again called.
The river was the 8♠ and Boyd bet 300,000. Blackwell folded this time.
Jessie Snow raised to 110,000 in early position, Matthew Blackwell moved all in from the big blind, and Snow called for 1,000,000.

It was a big coin flip, and the A♣J♠6♦ flop gave Snow top pair but also Blackwell a set. The turn was the 10♦.
"It's not over yet," a tablemate said as Snow picked up straight and flush draws, but he missed the 2♠ river and was eliminated in 17th place.
