Lafata Hits the Nuts to Bust Reynolds
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 30,033 ante
There was already around 8,000 in the pot as Mark Lafata and Steven Reynolds went to a flop of 2♦6♦4♦. Lafata then bet 4,700 from the small blind, and Reynolds called under the gun.
Lafata bet another 6,000 on the 9♦ turn, and Reynolds moved all in for 25,000. Lafata snap-called and turned over A♦Q♣ for the nut flush, while Reynolds could only show Q♦Q♠.
The river was the 8♥, and Lafata took the pot to send Reynolds to the rail.
