The small blind had run right into Butler's aces, but he got some hope on the Q♣J♣2♣ flop with top pair. The turn, though, brought the A♦ to give Butler top set, and he secured the knockout after the 7♥ river.
"He was definitely just trying to steal the blinds," tablemate Mark Lafata said after the hand.
