Bequette Fills Up to Double
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
A player in the cutoff bet 5,000 on a flop of J♠8♣2♦ and was called by James Bequette on the button and another opponent in the small blind.
The cutoff bet another 15,000 on the 10♠ turn, and Bequette moved all in for 21,900. The small blind folded, while the cutoff called to put Bequette at risk.
Bequette showed 2♣2♠ for a set, while his opponent had K♠Q♠ for straight and flush draws. The 10♥ fell on the river to give Bequette a full house, and he earned the double up.
