"This Table is Insane"; Telle Spikes the River to Double
Level 19
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Shortly after coming out the wrong side of the three-way all in, Charles Telle got in his last 370,000 from the hijack and was up against Dale Stafford in the big blind.
Charles Telle: Q♣Q♠
Dale Stafford: J♠J♦
Telle had Stafford crushed with his queens, but the J♣10♠5♣ flop gave Stafford top set and the lead. The turn was the 6♥, and Telle spiked the Q♥ on the river to win the pot and double up.
"This table is insane," tablemate Keith Heine said.
At another table, Mike Bell had bet 150,000 from early position on a board of 2♥Q♠8♣A♠ and Ben Miller called on the button. Bell then moved all in on the J♠ river, and Miller called for 200,000.
Miller showed 9♠8♠ for a rivered flush, and Bell tossed A♣10♣ into the muck.
