Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 3,000 ante
Vince Pironti has more than 1.5 million.
Vince Pironti has more than 1.5 million.

Brady Bullard opened for 35,000 in middle position and was called by both Ross Bybee on the button and Vince Pironti in the small blind. After the {j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, flop, both of Bullard's opponents called his 46,000 continuation-bet. An {8-Spades} arrived, and action checked to Bybee. He bet 125,000, only to see Pironti push 300,000 forward. Bullard mucked, and Bybee announced all in. Pironti snapped.

Pironti: {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Bybee: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Bybee needed one of the last two queens to take the monster pot, but a {7-Hearts} was a brick. Pironti now has a monster stack.

Clint Tolbert Eliminated in 8th Place ($7,855)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 3,000 ante
Clint Tolbert - 8th Place
Clint Tolbert - 8th Place

Dan Martin came out ahead in a battle of sponsored tour pros against Clint Tolbert. First, Sam Panzica opened from the cutoff for 32,000, and Tolbert made it 90,000 on the button. Martin shoved all in for 235,000 in the small blind, and Tolbert called.

Tolbert: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}
Martin: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Martin had a dominating position, but things got scary when the turn made the board {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, giving Tolbert outs to a flush and a chop. The {5-Clubs} was the blank Martin needed to double.

Tolbert was down to a few big blinds, and he busted shortly thereafter.

Bunch Folds to Panzica

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 4,000 ante

Eric Bunch opened to 48,000 in middle position and called a three-bet to 115,000 from Sam Panzica in the cutoff. On the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, both players checked, and Bunch checked the {8-Clubs} turn. Panzica bet what appeared to be 97,000, and Bunch raised to about 130,000 more. Panzica pushed all all in, and Bunch folded.

Panzica Pays Off Pironti

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 4,000 ante

There was already a massive heap of T5,000 chips in the middle when we got back to the table, and the board read {j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Vince Pironti was cutting out and pushing 250,000 forward. Sam Panzica sighed an announced a call. Pironti showed {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

"That's so sick," Panzica said as he mucked. "That's like the only run out..."

Eric Bunch Eliminated in 6th Place ($9,352)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 4,000 ante
Eric Bunch - 6th Place
Eric Bunch - 6th Place

Ross Bybee raised to 40,000 on the button, and Eric Bunch shoved all in for 203,000 more in the big blind. Bybee called.

Bybee: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Bunch: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, giving Bybee top two. Bunch needed only a jack after the {7-Hearts} hit the turn, but the {q-Clubs} river wasn't enough for the Day 2 chip leader.
