After some time off, the RunGood Poker Series has returned, this time with an event at Downstream Casino Resort in Quapaw, Okla. The $675 Main Event is set to kick off with the first of three starting flights at 7 p.m. local time. The plan for Day 1a is to play 13 levels, each lasting 30 minutes apiece. Blinds will begin at 25/50 and each player will start with 20,000. Ten minute breaks will be given every four levels, and players may reenter as many times as they wish for the first eight levels.
The prize pool features a $100,000 guarantee, and in addition cash prizes, the final table participants will all bink $2,000 Blaycation packages to the season-ending RunGood Championship, which will be held in New Orleans.
Last October, RunGood's main event here at Downstream drew 262 entries, and Mark Martin took it down when the dust had settled, topping a final table that included RunGood Pros Justin Gardenhire, Michael Sanders, and Ryan Tepen. This fall's event is sure to be another good one, so stay tuned here for all of the live reporting.
