Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Lou Barlow - day 1b chip leader
Lou Barlow - day 1b chip leader

On one of the last hands of play, Lou Barlow won a massive pot against RunGoodGear.com Team Pro Ryan Tepen when he got it all in with a set of fours against Tepen's open-ended straight flush draw on the turn. Barlow would fade Tepen's many outs to score a double up that would see him end the day with the Day 1b chip lead at 253,000. He was followed by Joel Nimmo who ended play with 238,500 in chips. Ryan Koontz rounded out the top three with a stack of 201,000.

Out of the 111 entrants, 18 moved on to return tomorrow at noon for the final day of play in this Main Event. With one flight remaining, 34 players of the 206 entrants that started are moving on. Joining the aforementioned top three in advancing from Day 1b include Tepen (12,000), Ross Bybee (159,500), Chance Fitzgerald (81,000), Heather Alcorn (159,000), Chris Drake (200,000), Troy Repp (175,500), and Terry Karn (91,000).

Many would fail to advance including Isaac Tucker, Ben Reason, Bernard Lee, Mike Tang, defending champion Mark Martin, Dan Lowery, Huy Nguyen, Jamie Kerstetter, and Bryan Campanello. Those players all have one final shot in Day 1c currently taking place right now.

We'll be covering that and all the Day 2 action tomorrow. Tune into PokerNews to find out who emerges as the winner!
