We caught the action with a board of and Richard Koller's bet of 10,000 was met with an all-in raise from Papa Karn to 72,500 total. Koller thought for a while, eventually announcing "call".
It was bad news for Karn, as his was drawing dead against the of Koller. The meaningless fell on the river and Karn exited the tournament area.
A rollercoaster for Robert Skulman started with a big preflop all in where he got 99,000 in the middle and was called by Corey Hastings. Skulman was well behind with versus . After a flop of left Hastings fairly safe, running kings sent the bulk of Hastings' stack to Skulman.
Next, Skulman and Daniel Lowery clashed, getting everything in the middle after a flop. Skulman needed help again as his needed to find another diamond against the of Lowery. It didn't come though as the completed the board and filled Lowery with a ton of chips.
We didn't catch the action but were able to reconstruct with the help of Curtis Edens, who clashed with another big stack in Daniel Lowery.
After a preflop raise and three-bet from Edens, Lowery made the call to see a flop of . Lowery check-called a bet of 40,000 and then shoved all in after the turn and Edens snap-called tabling for the nut flush. Lowery's had no outs and Edens gathered the huge pot and eliminated Lowery.
Lauren Blase had nicely nursed a short stack into the money and got her last 23,000 in the middle with pocket aces, well ahead of the pocket kings of Terry Presley, but the run out cruelly eliminated her from the tournament.
Presley, on the other hand is running hot, having also eliminated a player just before the break.
Jonathan Wilson got all of his chips in preflop with pocket aces versus the pocket queens of Clyde Lorance. The runout was not kind to Wilson, however, as the river put out the fifth piece of a king-high straight for Lorance.
