Thompson Won't Go Away

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Eric Thompson was in the big blind on a board of {3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and check-called 4,200 from the player in the cutoff. He checked the {8-Spades} river as well, and the cutoff bet 9,000. Thompson called fairly fast.

"I've got nothing," the cutoff said.

Thompson showed {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and the cutoff mucked and shook his head.

Unkenholz Takes Huge Pot

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

A player under the gun bet 2,300 on an {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop and got action from the big blind and Brian Unkenholz, who was on the button. The turn was a {2-Hearts} and the big blind came out betting with 5,000, getting two quick calls. On the {j-Diamonds} river, action checked to Unkenholz, and he bet 8,000. The big blind quickly called, and the player under the gun tanked about a minute before calling.

The big blind tossed {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} in for aces up but Unkenholz had rivered better two pair with {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

Mather Ships River

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Amey Watters bet 2,300 from under the gun on a {6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} board. Greg Jennings called, as did Steven Mather from middle position. The river was a {k-Spades}. Watters bet 3,700, and Jennings tank-called. Mather immediately announced he was all in, and Watters quickly mucked. Jennings followed suit.

Players are on a 10-minute break.

Watters Takes Three-Way All In

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

We found a middle-position player all in for 8,800 preflop and Amey Watters putting her stack of 15,625 in. A player in the cutoff put his whole stack of 22,375 in as well.

"Alright, I fold," Greg Jennings said with a sigh, tossing {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} in. "Winning hand right here."

Middle position: {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Watters: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Cutoff: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out dead: {j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, sending the pot to Watters' ace-king high.

Spriggs Still Running Them Over

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

After one check on a {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{q-Spades} flop, Rodney Spriggs bet 2,300. The only problem was a second player in front of him had yet to check. The floor was called, and the player ended up checking, meaning Spriggs' bet stood. Only Jerry Dixon, on the button, called. The turn was a {k-Clubs} and Spriggs bet 5,000. Dixon folded after a couple of minutes.
